As the Housekeeping Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the Castle.
Responsibilities:
· With a hands-on approach, lead and supervise the housekeeping/cleaning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the castle premises, including cottages, bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, food and beverage outlets, ceremonial and event spaces.
· Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas of the castle premises are cleaned and prepared promptly for castle occupants, visitors and business operations.
· Oversee the stocking and inventory management of cleaning supplies, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times.
· Train new housekeeping staff on castle policies, procedures, and proper cleaning techniques.
· Inspect and evaluate the work of housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed.
· Collaborate with other castle staff, such as event coordinators and maintenance personnel, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
· Coordinate with castle management to address any maintenance or repair issues that may affect housekeeping operations.
· Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with castle regulations and industry best practices.
This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.
