Conveniently located in Kent, just 1.5 hours from central London, with easy access via the M20. The nearest train station is only 10 minutes from Ashford International and two miles from the castle.
Gatwick Airport is just over an hour away, making travel simple for international guests.
Where do I begin with this incredible venue? We had our wedding there last weekend and it was absolutely incredible. Kate the manager went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted and was with us every step of the way. I felt like it was my second home throughout the process and as if we were the only couple getting married there which is lovely. Our guests were absolutely wowed by the views and the castle itself. The bridal suite was perfection and super luxurious. We hired all four cottages for the occasion and they were so beautiful and spacious. We had lots of kids staying there and there was plenty of room for all of us and travel cots provided. Once again I can’t thank Kate enough for bringing to life the most magical day of our lives. We will be back for all of our anniversaries.

Fantastic venue & setting for my daughter’s wedding, Mike & Kate are a credit to the castle helping to plan the big day, and running the event on the day, and getting Pineapple cottage ready for their overnight stay.
Thank you all so very much.
Regards Ian

A marvellous idyllic place where wedding we went to was held. The staff were very attentive and met with most warmly welcome.

Great venue for a wedding. A fantastic find for my daughters wedding in May. Everything was perfect thanks to the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend to anyone looking for a special wedding venue, you will not be disappointed.

It is rare I will ever leave a review as a wedding vendor, but Kate at Lympne Castle is an absolute pleasure to work with. She made it so easy for me to deliver & set-up a tiered wedding cake and gave me full reassurance it would be in safe hands (trust me, it’s a rarity with wedding venues!). Kate is so knowledgeable about the trade and I really hope to work with her and Lympne Castle again soon. Beautiful venue and fantastic staff!

I was the wedding photographer for Emilia & George’s wedding last Saturday at Lympne Castle. As always it’s such a pleasure to work with the team at the Castle. They are extremely friendly and professional, as a supplier they take amazing care of you on the day. I can’t recommend this venue enough if you’re looking to get married.

I’m writing from a different perspective as a wedding supplier. My band, The RockPins, have been playing at Lympne Castle for probably more than 10 years. We played again for the first time last Saturday 28th October ’23 for another wedding. It was our first time back since the new ownership. We always liked the venue (easy load in, amazing views, its a castle!). But it has improved dramatically. Much, much more friendly from the staff from our perspective, so much better atmosphere. Also, the food was better than before, it was lovely (we just had cooked buffet, but it was great). Apparently they will be turning the upstairs rooms into accommodation in the future. It has so much potential and it’s great to see it being used. It even has a public bar open in the week. Look forward to being back there.

We had our wedding here in October and everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. Not only that, but the staff were incredible. They adapted so much to our last minute changes due to health issues, and were there with us every step of the way through an already stressful day, and helping us set up a live video stream so that my mum was able to see the ceremony. Stunning venue, beautiful people, amazing accommodation. They also accommodated our 8 weeks old puppy at last minute without a hitch. Thank you for making our day so special. Nothing we asked for was too much.

A venue for weddings and celebrations BUT also a bar, bistro, coffee lounge and a fabulous place for breakfast, lunch and dinner! It is ike stepping into a fairytale, with 2000+ years of history, it is a must visit! Did I mention it’s free to walk in?

Book this for your wedding/reception – you won’t be disappointed! So we got married in the church (next door) and hired out one of the rooms in the castle for our reception. I can’t fault the service. It was spectacular and really made our day special. I don’t think I’ve ever had service like that where the staff are so professional, personable and just amazing all round. We were aware that we didn’t hire out the venue or anything like that specifically for our wedding – it was a room in the castle so we didn’t really expect much. But the staff made us feel like we did. They even roped in some of the gardeners to pull smoke bombs for one of our pictures! The staff made every effort. Laura and Mike were great and went beyond expectations. We just have no complaints at all with anything. It was an amazing day. The castle itself is picture perfect and for us was the perfect setting. It’s rich in history and the attention to details is incredible. There’s multiple rooms of varying sizes. We had a small wedding so hired out one of the smaller rooms but it looks like they can cater to a wedding of any size. We also stayed in one of the cottages within the castle grounds along with the guests which were equally perfect. Pretty much every wedding I’ve been to the food has been mediocre at best. But the food here was great. Everybody really enjoyed the food. The kitchen obviously know what they’re doing so kudos to them. This is honestly the best place to have your wedding. You’re in very safe hands with the staff here, the castle is gorgeous (and the views!) and the we couldn’t think of a better place to do it. Thank you for the special day!

My wife and I were married at the lovely Lympne Castle in May 2023 and our day was everything we hoped it could be and more.
The Castle had everything we needed with stunning views, particualrly from the castle’s gardens and in the bride’s preparation room, along with onsite accomodation. It was the perfect venue for our spring wedding.
The staff at the venue were absolutlely amazing and we can’t thank Kate and Michael enough for all the their help and assistance. They were both incredibly friendly and prompt to respond to any queries that we had and their team always ensured that both us and our guests were well looked after on the day.
We would recommend getting married at Lympne Castle in a heartbeat.

My fairytale dreams come true!!
My husband and I got married at stunning Lympne Castle on the 3rd April 2023 and our day was everything I could have ever dreamed of.
The story of our dream wedding venue almost ended up in tatters; we had booked Lympne Castle under its old Management and were one of those coulples who’s wedding was then cancelled due to the sale of Lympne Castle to a new owner. This was 7 weeks before our wedding. As in every good fairytale things worked out for those with true love and we were the very first couple to have their wedding at Lympne Castle under the new Management.
I think this was the best thing that ever happened to us!
While the castle itself is already breathtaking and simply the perfect backdrop for any wedding, we were blessed with clear blue skies and a warm breeze. Everything was utterly perfect!
My biggest shout out and compliment goes to Kate & Mike from the Castle who simply managed to be everywhere on the day, making sure we were running to schedule, myself & husband were fed and everyone had an amazing time! Kate, Mike & Team truely went above and beyond for us and there wasn’t a single Canape out of place or glass empty. I had already had the pleasure of working with Kate while planning the wedding and she wasn’t just an absolute joy to work with but made wedding planning basically stress free. She always responded to my emails and calls and was incredibly accomodating.
On our big day the new owners came by to introduce themselves and congratulate us and to ensure that we had everything we needed. This was so appreciated.
We spent the night before our wedding and the wedding night in the cottages adjacent to the castle which was perfect and meant that myself and my bridal part could be in the stunning getting-ready room by 8am sharp.
We had several items of entertainment planned for our guests, including archery, falconry and a band and none of it was a problem for the castle staff!
If I could get married at Lympne Castle again I would do it without hesitation and I know that the new Management is going to give the Castle the TLC it deserves to make it an even dreamier location. I can honestly only recommend Lympne Castle and its staff as a venue for any kind of event and we will surely be back.
