Manager Operations & Events

LOCATION: Lympne Castle, Hythe

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for the overall castle operations and events execution. This includes but is not limited to developing, planning, implementing, and overseeing all internal and external events and programmes working in collaboration with the team to ensure that all operations and events are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired level of high quality. You will have overall responsibility for presentation, health and safety and guest welfare and experience. This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.

TO BE CONSIDERED, THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA NEED TO BE MET:

Proven experience working in a similar Operations and Events role.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple project/events.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong IT skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Self-motivated and disciplined. Strong Health and Safety knowledge and First Aid Qualifications (First Aid training can be provided).
Experience in wedding planning / coordination, catering and restaurant operations is an asset.
