Lympne Castle, A Medieval English ExperienceMedieval Hog Roast
It’s a hog roast – Medieval Style! Amidst the historic walls of Historic Lympne Castle, surrounded by minstrels, jugglers and servants wearing the medieval period costumes that once adorned the castle walls dating back to 1080AD.
Relax amidst period furniture, enjoy a roasted hog (yes, vegetarian options are available) and toast the beautiful views of the English Channels with a pewter mug. Children are welcome to make their own crown or paint a wooden castle while adults try their hand at archery and axe throwing.
Arguably one of the most beautiful historic and scenic castles in the world, Lympne Castle is situated high on a hill on 139 acres spotted with Ancient Roman ruins. The castle, only recently opened to the public, was once the home of the Archdeacon of Canterbury.
