Travel Options

Arriving by Car
Exit the M20 at Junction 11 and follow signs for the A20 towards Hythe and Ashford. Take the road signposted Lympne, just after the A261 for Hythe. At the T-junction, turn left, then take the next right towards Lympne Castle. Follow the lane and park in the car parking area near the church.
The nearest local station is Sandling, approximately two miles from Lympne Castle. Ashford International is also within around 30 minutes by car and offers wider rail connections.

For international guests, Gatwick Airport is just over an hour’s drive away.

Guest parking is available in the adjacent car park near the church. Please allow a little extra time on arrival, especially for weddings and larger events.

  • Exit the M20 at Junction 11.
  • Follow the A20 towards Hythe and Ashford.
  • Turn onto the road signposted Lympne.
  • Continue along the lane towards the castle.
  • At the junction, turn and follow signs to the parking area near the church.
  • Travel to Sandling Station, the nearest railway station to Lympne Castle.
  • Exit the station and take a taxi to the castle (approximately 2 miles).
  • Alternatively, travel to Ashford International Station.
  • Take a taxi or pre-booked transfer from Ashford International (around 30 minutes).
  • Enjoy direct rail connections from London and other major UK destinations.
  • Fly into Gatwick Airport, located just over one hour's drive from Lympne Castle.
  • Arrange a private transfer for a comfortable journey to the castle.
  • Alternatively, take a taxi directly from the airport.
  • Enjoy a simple and convenient journey to Lympne Castle.
  • Contact the castle team if you require assistance with transport arrangements.
