Open Monday – Sunday: 12:00 – 22:30* (see exceptions below)

Raise a glass where history was made. Tucked within the ancient walls of Lympne Castle, The Good Knight is our medieval bar with sweeping views across Romney Marsh to the sea. Enjoy local ales, wines and castle cocktails alongside hearty bar food — all in surroundings that have welcomed travellers for over 900 years. Whether you’re stopping by for a quiet pint, a bite with friends, or one of our regular quiz and music nights, there’s no better place to eat, drink and be merry.

The Castle and The Good Knight will be closed for a private event on 6th November. The Naughty Dog Bistro will remain open.

Special Hours – Due to special and private events, the Good Knight and Castle will be open to the public during the following hours:

Saturday, 28th November – Open 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Monday, 7th December – Open 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Thursday, 10 December – Open 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Friday, 11th December – Open 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Saturday 12th December – Open 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Thursday, 17th December – WEST WING area only – 12:00pm – 4:00 pm

Friday, 18th December – Open 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Kitchen closes one hour prior to closing.
